Warenford were the star performers in the Alnwick and District Cricket League as they romped to a nine-wicket victory over Tillside II.
Michael Thompson was the bowling hero, ending with eight wickets for 15 runs, as he ripped through the Tillside batsmen, who were 53 all out.
Elsewhere, Mitford won by eight wickets at home to Warkworth II and Embleton won by five wickets at Alnmouth & Lesbury twos.
Howick conceded against Wooler while Berwick v Rock was cancelled.
In the Vice President’s Cup on Sunday, Wooler and Mitford were the victors and they will meet on Sunday, August 12 for the final.
The Tate Cup final, between Tillside and Wooler, takes place on Sunday at 3pm.
