THREE Harriers travelled down to York to take part in the Brass Monkey Half Marathon on Sunday.
The route starts and finishes at York Racecourse, is fast and flat and is well known for its quick times.
Conditions were very windy, but this did not stop Ruth Doctor notching a personal best at the event, beating her time from the same race last year.
Harriers results: 474 Mark Doctor, 1.36.38; 1096 John Ross, 1.52.42; 1238 Ruth Doctor, 1.57.12.
The day before, three Harriers also took part in the Newcastle Park run in cold, windy conditions in Exhibition Park.
Results: 22 David Nolan, 20.16; 106 Phil Lee, 23.15; 180 Charlotte Baston, 25.23.
