Rothbury off to a flying start

The 2013 season got off to a good start on a glorious Tuesday evening, the first fine opening match for three years!

Lesbury lost all their matches at home to Rothbury on a score of 8-0, shots total of 86-28. Lesbury are in the process of rebuilding their team and had a few first-time bowlers in their line-up. As the season progresses they are bound to improve.

Elsewhere, Alnwick at home to Amble won 6-2, with a shots score of 69-53. Seahouses won 6-2 at home to Wooler, last season’s champions, with a shots score of 59-53.
