Percy Hunt team pick up more honours

The Percy Hunt Tetrathlon squad have continued to produce outstanding results this season.

The results are as follows:

Area Tetrathlon Competition held at Titlington T&DC and Willowburn Leisure Centre (The National Qualifying Competition).

Open boys was won by Harvey Coxon.

Open girls: 1 Steph Courty; 2 Rebecca Barwise-Munro; 6 Suzanne Barwise-Munro.

Open girls team, comprising Steph, Rebecca and Suzanne, won Open Team Competition.

UK Regional Championships held in Somerset on August 3 and 4.

Open girls: 1 Steph Courty; 3 Rebecca Barwise-Munro; 5 Suzanne Barwise-Munro.

The girls were all part of the five-strong north of England squad winning the UK regional team title.

National Tetrathlon Champs held at Bishop Burton College on August 9, 10 and 11.

Steph, Rebecca and Suzanne won the open girls’ team title for the third consecutive year and all three girls were representing England in a Five Nations Competition, which they won.

Individually in the open girls, Suzanne finished third, Steph fourth and Rebecca 11th and Harvey Coxon was ninth in the open boys’ competition.

Rebecca, Suzanne and Harvey are travelling to Limerick this weekend to compete in the Irish National Championships.
