Northumberland Senior Cup quarter-final draw confirmed
The draw for the last eight of the Northumberland Senior Cup has been announced.
The quarter-final draw for this season's Northumberland Senior Cup has been made, with current holders Whitley Bay set to face Blyth Town at home.
Elsewhere, Blyth Spartans will host last term’s defeated finalists Heaton Stannington at Croft Park. The Stan were beaten on penalties at St. James’ Park back in May, having lifted the trophy 12 months prior.
Meanwhile, either Newcastle University or Ashington will host Newcastle Benfield, with the Colliers set to face their Tyneside opponents on Thursday night for a spot in the last eight. Marc Ellison’s men head into that clash having suffered a 4-1 loss against NPL East leaders Bradford Park Avenue last time out.
The final quarter-final tie will see Morpeth Town travel to North Shields, who currently sit fifth in the Ebac Northern League Division One table.
All matches in the last eight of the Northumberland Senior Cup are set to take place by Sunday, November 29th.
