Dressed to impress and ready for action, these boxers from Alnwick Amateur Boxing Club sport the group’s new strip.
Complete with the cross of St George, the kit will be worn by club representatives when they do battle at the organisation’s home show next month.
The fight feast, entitled The King of the Castle Tournament, will feature boxers from near and far.
Organisers are hoping to have 12 bouts on the night.
The event, the club’s first home show, will be staged in Alnwick Castle’s Guest Hall on St George’s Day, April 23.
Doors will open at 7.30pm with boxing starting at 8pm.
Tickets for the show are priced £15 and are available from the club’s gym, at the town’s St Thomas’ Close workshops, from 6pm to 8pm every weekday.
As part of the kit launch, club chairman Gary Pattinson is offering businesses the chance to support the club, which has thrived ever since it opened its doors last summer.
He said: “The club is developing nicely and it is really going places.
“It would be great to have a company willing to support and promote the club along with the achievements of the children and young people at the club.
“Any company that would like to support the club could have their logo across the chest of the strip.
“If they are interested they could get in touch with me for sponsorship details.”
Anyone who is interested or wants to find out more about the club or the show, can call Gary on 07738 364349.
The club, which is due to be taking two boxers to fight in Bristol this weekend, also has its own Facebook page.
