THE Boulmer/Alnwick side made it two out of two last week after defeating Prudhoe C.

At Willowburn last Wednesday (November 16), both teams started strongly and there was little to separate the sides during the first 20 minutes of play. By half-time, the home side was up 17-15.

Boulmer/Alnwick dominated the third quarter and displayed controlled and attacking netball with the defence applying plenty of pressure, creating many turnovers. The home team won the third quarter 9-3 and went into the final quarter full of confidence.

The final quarter was led from the mid-court with both the C and WA making excellent passes into the goal circle. The shooters excelled and shot goal after goal resulting in a fourth quarter win of 15-2.

All players gave 100 per cent and Boulmer/Alnwick defeated their opponents 41-20. Player-of-the-match: H MacKenley (GD).

Team: Anne Marie Imeson, Heather Eggleston, Kate Imeson, Paula Archer (c), Holly MacKenley, Ruth Oldfield, Victoria Bell, Imogen Brown, Holly Eggleston.
