Linzi Taylor has recently been successful in securing her place on the England Under 20sRugby Union Squad.
This has been down to her hard work and dedication since she started playing rugby for Alnwick rugby team at the age of nine.
There she was coached by Colin Davison who encouraged her to never give up. She then went on to play for Morpeth with coaches Jim Thompson and Dave Chattaway .
Linzi has studied at Bishop Burton College where she not only did her studies but also played rugby alongside it.
Linzi was part of West Park Leeds Rugby Team. She has represented her county team and also North of England team for the past four years, as well as playing in the 7’s Rugby at the Sainsburys School Games the past two years.
However, this is a huge achievement for her and a one that all her hard work over the years has paid off.
