Jordan first across the line for Harriers at Druridge

The fastest parkrun of the weekend by a Harrier was posted by Jordan Rogerson who finished seventh at Gateshead on Saturday, taking 19.19 to complete the 5k.

The usual decent number of club members took part in the Druridge Bay Parkrun that morning. Mark Douglas is getting back to form, clocking 19.51 to finish fifth of the 161 runners. Stuart Morris was not far behind in a course best, whilst Neil Hamilton was just outside his pb. Justine Norman was the club’s first female finisher and was winner of the female 45 category.

Results: 5-Mark Douglas 19.51 (66.08%); 10-Stuart Morris 20.28 (67.67%); 23-Neil Hamilton 22.08; 30-Robert Stephenson 23.26 (59.39%); 39-Justine Norman 24.02 (66.09%); 73-Tracey Sample 26.23 (60.77%); 90-Stuart Bruce 28.24; 124-Melanie Buchanan 31.26; 129-Nell Gair 32.16; 156-Jayne McKenna 38.26.

Finally for the parkruns Richard and Gay Eastoe took part in the Ellesmere Port Parkrun on Merseyside. They ran together and both finished in 27.53.

The couple ran together the following day as well, taking part in the Lancaster Castle 10k! They both crossed the line in 57.03.
