Anglers are being encouraged to sign up for a fund-raising fly-fishing event, in aid of a military charity.
Lucy Bowden has announced that the competition will take place on Sunday, May 31, at Thrunton Long Crag Trout Fishery.
Money raised will go to Fishing for Heroes, which provides fully-expensed fly-fishing courses as part of a therapy package for veterans who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Last year’s fly-fishing event raised more than £5,000 for the same cause.
Anglers will battle it out in a four-hour competition, followed by a barbecue, raffle and auction.
To take part, call Lucy on 07890 519392.
