Glorious sunny weather conditions greeted the thousands of runners taking part in the Blaydon Race last Tuesday.
A decent number of Harriers took part in the 5.75mile race from Newcastle to Blaydon, with some excellent times from some.
First Harrier to complete and 11th female overall was Jo Gascoigne-Owens, who finished in a brilliant 33.48 (chip time).
Next woman home was Pauline Aitchison, who was very pleased with her 43.38.
Unbelievably, just days after taking part in a gruelling Lake District trail marathon, Morag Donoghue ran very well to finish in 46.25, while fellow marathoner Carol Davison was slightly further back.
For the men, Richard Johnson was first home in 36.02, not far ahead of Rob Enser.
Dave Hindmarsh was next, pipping Gary Cowell and Mark Douglas after a tight tussle.
