The sun shone for the golfers in the Vaux Trophy on Sunday and it was shining brightest for Steve Barron and Barry Farrar, the pairs 42 points was good enough to take the victory but only just. Runners up were brothers Connor and Sam Thompson who also shot 42 points but were beaten on countback. Third place again on a countback were Colin Donaldson and Micky Bell whose 41 points beat Boozer Kennedy & Russell Cooke, Alan Craigs & Ken Burn and Daryl Leigh Milton & Mark Hodgson all 41 points.

A super six twos on the day see the spoils shared between Barry Farrar, Adam Gattens, Daryl Leigh Milton, Alistair Smith and a brace for captain Craig Horsley.
