Players have returned to the local golf courses following the lifting of restrictions.
Results from the local courses are:
Blustery conditions greeted players for the Sergison Cup on Sunday but that didn't blow winners Boozer Kennedy and Russell Cooke off track. Boozer and local postie Russell delivered a winning score of 40 points which proved enough to push Steve Barron and Barry Farrar 39 points into runners up spot.
Third and fourth were pairs Iain Bell and Harry Milham and Wayne and Jack Belisle both shooting 38 points but the latter missing out on countback.
Three twos on the day saw a return for Iain Bell, Barry Farrar and Alistair Smith.
Good Friday brought calmer conditions and an 18 hole sweep and it was young Jack Belisle who's incredible 49 points who took the victory by 13 points. It would have been closer but playing partner Robert Douglas 42 points forgot to sign his card. Runner up Alistair Smith shot 36 points and Jimmy Cookson 34 points claimed third place.
Their were four twos on the day for Richie Campbell, Russell Cooke, Adam Gattens and Alistair Smith.
Opening Stableford – 1st Gary Dunlop 40 pts, 2nd Shaun Davison 40 pts, 3rd Alan Gallagher 38 points.
Pairs Texas Scramble – 1st Keith Appleby & John Henderson 73-04=69, 2nd Geoff Newman & Gary Dunlop 79-08=71, 3rd Michael Arkle & Rob Jackson 77-05=72.
Temple Trophy – 1st S Capron 32pts, 2nd P Lewis 28pts (on back 9), 3rd T Young 28pts.
