KEV Fletcher, Ian Tate and Steven Dunn were the 180 men for Alnwick Gate A, inspiring the table-topping side to a derby win over Gate B in the Alnwick Premier Darts League.
The Division A league leaders won the close 4-3 battle on Friday night.
Bell Bar B consolidated their second spot in the league with a 7-0 victory over Fleece, with veteran captain Dave Lundy’s finishing power proving too much for the losing side.
Blue Bell A were too hot to handle for The George, winning 6-1. Darren Melbourne claimed the solitary point for the defeated side.
In the bottom-of-the-table clash, John Bull picked up an important 4-3 win over basement side the Farriers.
Division B league leaders Alnwick Working Men’s Club B enjoyed another win with Davey Laidler throwing a maximum and a 100 finish to help the club lads take a 6-1 win over Oddies A.
But second-placed Alnwick Gate C kept the pressure on at the top with a 6-1 win over The Market Tavern, with Lee Hopper for the Gate hitting a 101 checkout on the way.
Shilbottle Club beat The Hotspur by the same scoreline, with a 180 from Richie Robson helping them on their way.
Alnwick Golf Club A beat Alnwick Working Men’s Club A 5-2, with Huey Lam for the golfers once again taking man-of-the-match.
