Two players who could make his debut against Hearts are new signings Alex Harris and Graham Taylor

Harris, a winger, has joined on a two year deal with the option of a third, whilst Taylor has agreed a one year deal.

Harris, 26, made his first-team debut for Hibernian in 2012 and played 60 times for the Edinburgh club in five seasons.

Harris also enjoyed a loan spell at Dundee – then in the Scottish Premier League – and was also loaned out to Scottish Championship outfit Queen of the South.

Harris then joined Falkirk for a season, before a move to York City.

In June 2019, Harris signed for Edinburgh City and, in two seasons with the Scottish League Two side, has played 37 times, scoring six goals.

Speaking about the capture of Harris, manager Stuart Malcolm said: “Alex is a very talented, exciting player and I’m very happy that we’ve been able to bring him here to Shielfield Park.

“With 60 appearances for Hibs and over 40 games played in the Scottish Premier League, it’s clear that Alex is a player of real quality and, importantly, he has a lot of experience, and I’m sure the fans will be looking forward to seeing in action.”

Taylor, 23, started out in the Dundee United academy and he made his debut in 2016. He then joined Edinburgh City where he went on to play 46 times in all competitions in the 2018/19 season, forming a key part of the side that went on to finish third in the league. For the last two seasons, Taylor has been at Cowdenbeath but only made ten appearances.

Speaking about the signing of Taylor, manager Malcolm said: “I’m really happy that Graham has joined us and, like Alex Harris, he has pace and creativity which will definitely help us at the attacking end of the pitch.”
