Alnwick Pythons had to get stuck in against a well-organised Felton team.

Alnwick took the lead with Matthew Conway tapping into an empty net after a good counter-attack (1-0) .

The Pythons then grabbed another in the second half from a Harvey Patrick corner, which Matthew Conway smashed into the top corner of the net, but Felton pulled one back to make it 2-1.

Eithan Balmbra ran down the wing and put in a pin-point cross for Matthew Stewart to volley into the net (3-1).

Felton never gave up and had chances to score, but Alnwick’s Tyler Cooke made some great saves to secure victory.

Lowick Ospreys 1

Rothbury Rangers beat Lowick Ospreys after an evenly-matched first 10 minutes in extremely windy conditions.

Rothbury took the lead from the penalty spot when Sam Burdis powered the ball into the top corner (1-0).

They dominated for long spells after that and went into a two-goal lead.

The Osprays pulled a goal back with Harry Pagan scoring, but Rangers went on to plant another two goals firmly in the back of the Lowick net.

Rothbury Rangers won with two goals by man-of-the-match, Sam Burdis, and two by Charlie Hall-Scope.

Rangers now move up to third place above Felton Falcons.
