Seven heaven for Pythons in team display

Mathew Stewart started the scoring for Alnwick with a lightning-quick reaction inside the box to poke home a Harvey Patrick corner. Alnwick went 2-0 up with Harvey Patrick dribbling past a defender and slotting home.

Good work down the left wing saw Mathew Stewart cut inside onto his right foot to bend the ball into the top corner from outside the box to make it 3-0 before half-time.

Lowick responded from the kick-off with a direct attack between two players, which ended with the ball in the bottom corner, 3-1.

Mathew Conway caught lowick off-guard with a pass to Cameron Nichols to net the fourth (4-1). The goal of the game came from Mathew Stewart as he lashed the ball from outside the box for it to smash off the crossbar and over the line (5-1).

Lowick pulled back a goal from out of the blue with a quick counter-attack (5-2).

Mathew Conway extended the lead with a volley from the edge of the box which clipped the post on its way in (6-2). Cameron Nichols sealed the win with a second bite of the apple.
