Michael Bowman crashed in a hat-trick as Killingworth Station got back to winning ways against Northbank this afternoon.

Lee Hamilton got the other with Mark Worrall (two) and Martin Blair on target for the visitors.

Paul Newton-Eddy also claimed a hat-trick as Red House Farm stormed to a 5-1 success at Shankhouse. Mark Sheeran bagged a brace, with Niall Younger netting a consolation.

Danny Hill’s early strike put Rutherford ahead against Whitley Bay A, but the Seahorses hit back four times after the break – Andrew Robertson (two), Alex Kemster and Ryan Keltie scoring.

John Robson’s double helped Walker Central to a 5-3 win over Stocksfield, with Nkiriza Suaibu, Matty Hayton and Paul Collinson getting the others. Phil Murray, Ben Dibb-Fuller and Steve Henderson notched for the Griffins.

Michael Scott put Seaton Delaval ahead against Wallington, but late strikes from Dan Thompson and Sam Walton turned the game around for the Greens.

Brent Aisbitt netted twice for Ashington Colliers, but goals from Paul McHutcheon (two) and Paul Mills gave Wallsend Town the points in a close-fought encounter.

Chris Dines’ late winner handed Hebburn Reyrolle three precious points at Percy Main.


Carlisle City sub Rob McCartney hit the only goal of the game against Blyth Town in the Bay Plastics Challenge Cup.


Paul Beat, Martin Guy, Graham Troughton and Damien Stevens were all on target for Birtley Saint Joseph’s but New Fordley won a nine-goal thriller, with strikes from Lee Waugh (two), Ben Davison, Louis Boddy and Mark Waite.

A goal in each half from Adam Shanks and Jordan Watson for Cramlington Town against Hexham put them top.

Newcastle Uni beat previous leaders Wooler 5-1 with goals from Robbie Sweet (three), Michael Spencer and Jake Salisbury. Luke Strangeways replied.

Scott Jasper, John Wyres, Anthony Errington and Liam Climpson fired in for North Shields Athletic as they beat Bedlington Terriers Reserves, who had Ian Sinclair and Andy Mogwo score.

Goals from Dean Laycock, Ian Hutchinson and Steve Mclaughlin gave Chemfica the points against Cullercoats, with James Ritson replying, while Gosforth Bohemians drew with Ponteland United.

Marcus Burn (two) and Ryan Charlton netted for Bohs, Thomas Skidmore, Liam Anderson and Dan Wright notching for United.

Dan Robinson hit a last-minute winner for Heddon against Willington Quay Saints. He got on the scoresheet earlier to add to Lawrence Hales-Crisp’s opener, with Callum Ancrum and Anthony Bruce chalking up for the visitors.


Chopwell’s Craig Willis struck twice in their win at Longbenton, while Robert Jefferson hit an amazing five for Grainger Park at Whitburn. Liam Lowdon hit two and Alexander Elezar struck the consolation.

Aiden Bell slammed home a four-minute hat-trick, either side of half-time, for Newcastle Benfield Reserves at West Allotment Celtic A. Chris Thompson, Andy McBride and Ben Jefferson got the others, Ben Jackson pulled one back.

Andrew Bennett grabbed four for Seaton Burn in their win at Cramlington United. Craig Jackson added two more and Martin Kelly struck twice in consolation.

Will Nutman’s opener for Wideopen was cancelled out by Gateshead Leam Rangers’ Gordon Hutchinson with 10 minutes to go.

Alnwick Town Reserves’ Stu Sullivan, Kenny Collins and Dominic Schievetta fired in at High Howdon, who netted through Chris Marshall and Luke Molloy.


Goals from James Bowman and Dan Igo after the break saw Swalwell ease past Newton Aycliffe Turbina in the Durham FA Minor Cup.
