Blyth Town sub Connor Andrews came off the bench and netted twice as the leaders came from behind to win their thirteenth straight game – and go thirteen points clear at the top.

Andy Davison shot visitors Rutherford ahead but Andrews’ double and a third from Stephen Howes turned things around.

Walker Central’s Sam Grieveson also struck twice in their victory over Red House Farm. Matty Hayton and Mark McDonnell added the others, with Michael Armstrong countering.

Ashington Colliers had David McKenzie, Joe Moscrop and Josie Bolam on target at North Shields Athletic, who replied through Sean Millington.

Chris Moffit’s second half strike proved decisive for Wallington at Shankhouse while hot-shot Karl Nealings-Lazzari banged in a hat-trick against Northbank.

Mason Stephenson was also on the scoresheet while Mike Reid netted at the other end.

Whitley Bay A’s Andrew Robertson bagged a brace and Chris Fenton, Tom Potter and Adam Baines added the others against Reyrolle and Whickham SC’s John Dewhirst also netted twice against Killingworth Station, who took a point with a Lee Laidler own goal and a Paul Dunn shot.


Percy Main left it late but the leaders celebrated a win at Hexham thanks to Jorge Bollardo’s 85th minute winner.

AFC Newbiggin stormed to a big win at Newcastle Uni with Brent Aisbit netting a hat-trick. John Bone, Kris Allington and Gary Bailes were also on the scoresheet while Jordan Cross replied.

Cramlington Town striker Danny McDonald hit all five as Town beat New Fordley.

Andy Malone pulled one back.

Tommy Bainbridge (2), Steve McLaughlin (2) and Robi Kingswell were Chemfica’s scorers as they beat bottom side Wooler and Pete Hall, Tavis Couling and Mark Wright netted for Bohemians in their victory over Blyth Isabella, with Daryl Gallon pulling two back.

Dan Hill and Luke Steel were Birtley Saint Josephs in their win at Bedlington Terriers Reserves, who scored courtesy of Ryan Cockburn.

The match between Wallsend Boys Club and Cullercoats was abandoned after a serious injury to a player.


Grainger Park’s Shaun Young smashed in a hat-trick and Robert Jefferson, Andy Gowing, Steven Thompson and Imran Collins added the others in a demolition job on West Allotment Celtic A that put the West End side top. Joe Deverdics and Ridi Muteba grabbed replies.

Gateshead Leam Rangers had Liam Barnett, James Fenwick, Ryan Gibson, Tony Falconer and Simon Price on the scoresheet against Wideopen and Paolo Black and Jonathon Storey celebrated netting for Lindisfarne Custom Planet in their win at Newcastle Benfield Reserves. Michael Baxter pulled one back.

Craig Harley, Andy McBride and Paul Ridley scored for Forest Hall but Swalwell took a point thanks to replies from Andy Brown, Paul Hargreaves and a last minute Danny Igo penalty.

Chris Chan shot High Howdon in front at Cramlington United but Niall Younger levelled late on and Alnwick Town Reserves’ Ryan Taylor scored twice in their win over Willington Quay Saints. Kenny Collins added a third while Glen Johnson grabbed both of the Saints’ goals.

Nicky Hara hit a double as Seaton Burn saw off Stobswood Welfare in the Northumberland FA Minor Cup. Chris Carr added the other.
