North Shields Athletic strikers Craig Boyle and Scott Jasper were all smiles after they both hit hat-tricks in an eight-goal mauling of Whickham Sporting Club. Ryan Bailey and Dan Capewell added the others while Liam Henderson and Blair Johnson pulled a couple back.

Blyth Town also stamped their authority as they hit Walker Central for six. Jason Richie (2), Chris Lyle, Malcolm Morien, Connor Andrews and Stephen Howes all got on the scoresheet with Dean Imray netting at the other end.

It was a tale of three penalties at Killingworth Station – two being netted by Michael Latimer and Martin Roper, with the latter missing a second against Hebburn Reyrolle, who took a point courtesy of an Adam Smith strike and Oliver Bone’s last minute equaliser.

Ryan Errington and Marc Shiel struck for Carlisle City as they hit back following Dylan Blake’s early opener for visitors Whitley Bay A, who levelled in the second half through Chris Bell.

Scott Lowery hit the Shankhouse opener against Rutherford, who turned the game on its head with Liam McAuley and Zak Atkinson strikes before Kevin Gustard restored parity and Joe Moscrop’s 28th minute effort gave Ashington Colliers victory at Seaton Delaval.

Ben Fenwick netted two dead balls – a free kick and a penalty – for Wallington against Northbank. John Paxton got the other, but the Cumbrians claimed a share of the spoils thanks to a Lewis Matthews shot and two late John Wilson goals.

Another couple of late goals gave Stocksfield three points at Red House Farm. The visitors led through Ben Pearson’s goal but Dan Ternent equalised in the 80th minute. An own goal and a Sam Moore strike saw the Griffins win it in the final three minutes.

Danny McDonald smashed in four times – including one from the penalty spot – as Cramlington United romped to success against Blyth Isabella in Division One.

Rob Eastway added two more and Marc Nixon added the other, with Dan Carr and Andy Howe shooting consolations. AFC Newbiggin also got on the goal trail with seven at New Fordley – Brent Aisbitt bagging a brace and Kev Halliday, Ross Muter, Gary Bailes, Macauley Burt and John Bone completing the demolition job. Zak Tulley scored the consolation.

Gareth Armstrong’s stoppage time winner gave Percy Main the points against Newcastle Chemfica. Ryan Laws (pen) and Dan Sneap got the others with Steve McLaughlin and Steven Spence on target for the visitors.

It was a similar story at Hexham as Daniel Ure powered in a great late header to gave Bohemians victory. Marcus Burn had earlier struck twice for Bohs, with the Tynedalers having Lewis Loughhead and Aiden Armstrong on the scoresheet.

Jordan Robertson (2), Nicky Whitelaw and Chris Brennan netted for Wallsend Boys Club against Heddon with Francis Storey pulling one back while Chris Connor, John Amos and Luke Ferguson did the damage for Cullercoats at Bedlington Terriers Reserves.

A Zack Bewley double and Andrew Davidson effort gave Ponteland United the points at Wooler.

Hot-shot Kane Chirnside netted one of the quickest goals on the opening day and went on to crash in a hat-trick in High Howdon’s win at West Allotment Celtic A in Division Two.

Chirnside opened his account in the first seconds and struck again in the 41st and 85th minutes. Chris Marshall and Anthony Bruce added the others, with Ben Jackson and Ridi Muteba notching the replies.

But the biggest result of the afternoon came at Shilbottle CW, who racked up double figures in an onslaught against Wideopen.Liam Brooks hit a treble, Josh Hay, Ross Gair and Matty Graham all helped themselves to doubles while Ryan Douglas and Phil Gray also got in on the act for the awesome Greens.

Matthew Smith was another striker looking to keep the matchball as he struck three times for Forest Hall at Alnwick Town Reserves.

James Milner and Michael Sutcliffe added the others while goals from Liam Barnett and James Fenwick eased Gateshead Leam Rangers to victory over Swalwell A goal in each half from Dale Robson and Kirk Fleming saw Grainger Park beat Whitburn and Michael Baxter, Adam Cole and Mark McCutcheon netted for Newcastle Benfield Reserves in their victory over Longbenton – David Short replying with a penalty.

An unfortunate Colin Winfield own goal put new boys Lindisfarne Custom Planet ahead at Cramlington United, who levelled courtesy of Nathan Hewitt just after the break.

Jonny Storey put Planet back in front nine minutes later and late goals from Nigel Morris and Ben Miley put the gloss on the win.

Noel Clinch’s opener for Willington Quay Saints at Seaton Burn was cancelled out by Jonathon Sutcliffe.
