Newcastle United gossip: Player hints at summer transfer, Toon keen on German Cup winner

The 21-year-old told NUFCTV: "I want to say thank you for welcoming me with open arms.

"I hope you are satisfied with what I’ve given to the club so far and hopefully there is more to continue in the future.

"I’m not going to promise anything but the conversation is going to be held.”

Magpies ‘keen’ on ex-West Ham coach

Tottenham are “intensively considering” departing Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic, with Newcastle United and Crystal Palace also taking interest.

Benfica are willing to offload reported Newcastle United target Nuno Tavares in a cut-price deal, as claimed by Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 21-year-old has been regularly linked with a move to St James’s Park over the past 12 months, however fresh reports have emerged.

The Italian publication, whilst detailing Napoli’s interest in the left-back, claims Tavares is set to be available for just £6million.
