Craster raid bags three valuable points

NO report submitted.

Division Two

Shilbottle CW Res...0 Craster Rovers...2

PLAY was fairly even during the opening stages but after 20 minutes Tom Parker netted to give an under-strength Craster the lead.

Lee Charlton broke down the right and squared it to Parker 20 yards out to finish well past Rutherford’s despairing dive.

They then doubled the lead in the 35th minute when Parker found Jordan Frost with a 50-yard floated pass. Frost cut in from the right chipping Rutherford into a empty net and they held the lead at half-time.

Shilbottle improved after the break but Craster contained the home side with good solid defending from everyone.

Craster man-of-the-match: Tom Davison.
