Conal was spotted by a Hibernian scout, who formally asked head of youth development at Lowick, Bill Blyth, if they would be prepared to let him join up with their Academy on a trial basis.
Bill naturally gave Hibernian his blessing, and Conal has impressed with a flurry of goals, including a hat-trick in a mid-week round-robin event.
Conal has enjoyed going to the Hibs training ground and meeting up with new players.
A Lowick spokesman said: “Conal is an example of the opportunities that playing junior football can lead to, and we are very proud of this young man, who is not only a fantastic footballer but a very polite child too.”
