Cobras find best form

COBRAS travelled away to Bedlington on Sunday and played their best football of the season.

Cobras started well when Marco McKeneley got on the scoresheet, an own goal made it 2-0, K Atkinson made it 3-0, A Smith scored the fourth.

Cobras started to pass the ball well and this resulted in J McEwan getting the fifth.

R Graham was starting to make some good runs from mid field and this paid off when he got his sixth.

Another own goal made it 7-0.

Bedlington were still battling well and were awarded a penalty from which they scored 7-1.

Back came the Cobras to score the best goal of the game, McNickle played Atkinson down the right who beat two players and crossed to McKeneley to volley home to make it 8-1.

Atkinson scored the ninth.

Managers K Smith and D Middleton said the team played some great football and was probably the best team performance of the season.
