Amble United win again to stay top

UNBEATEN Amble United toppled Morpeth Sporting Club to cement their position at the top of Division One of the Northern Alliance this afternoon.

The 1-0 win was their seventh win in eight outings.

With second-placed Wallsend Town on cup duty and third-placed Wallington’s game postponed, Amble opened a four-point gap at the summit.
