Amble stay top despite dropping points

LAST night saw Amble lose their 100 per cent record after they could only manage a goalless draw at Cramlington.

But their unbeaten start to the Northern Alliance Division One season means they remain top of the league.

Meanwhile in Division Two, Alnwick Town Reserves beat New Fordley 2-1 at home.
