Amble increased their lead in the 11th minute after Josh Hay was brought down in the box and Adam Shanks converted home.

They continued to play some good attacking football and were creating some good chances but could not convert them into goals.

Amble went three up in the 52nd minute when a good move down the right and cross by Riddell saw Shanks fire home his second.

Heddon got a goal back in the 58th minute when the Amble back four seemed to go to sleep and allowed Richard Darwent to break through and put his shot into the bottom left corner of the net.

Amble continued to press on with some good football and went four up in the 58th minute when, after a goalmouth scramble, Shanks was on hand to slot the ball home for his hat-trick and make the final score 4-1 to Amble.
