Alnwick Town have named Paul Yeadon as permanent manager of the first team.
Yeadon had been temporary boss since February, following the departure of manager Danny Olson and assistant Rob Marshall.
The club said at the time that Yeadon would be in charge until the end of the season, at which point they would ‘take stock’ of the situation.
But after a successful stint at the helm, which included steering the side to a 16th-place finish in Division Two of the STL Northern League, Yeadon has been named as permanent boss.
After the announcement, the 29-year-old said: “I am looking forward to it.
“It is a challenge but it is something that I want to do.
“It is a big season ahead but hopefully we can finish mid-table or above.”
