ALNWICK Harriers travelled to Farrington on Saturday, the second of six fixtures of the North East Harrier League season 2011/12, hosted by Sunderland Harriers.
A well-supported group of club runners competed in laps around a soft cross-country course, challenged by slippery steep hills and a water jump.

Next was Dave Lowe in 40:17 and Danny Richardson, who kept up his endurance for a time of 41:28. The other points scorer for Alnwick was Mark Miller in 42:32, the team moving up one place in the league.
