Alnmouth and Lesbury suffered a crushing eight wicket defeat when they entertained Ashington at home in the Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League.
Alnmouth made 167-8 off their 50 overs, but the visitors cruised to victory by posting 171-2 in reply.
Russell Hughes hit 54, which included six fours, as he top-scored for Alnmouth.
Tom Vickers added 33 and Charles Anderson 24, but most of the other bats found runs difficult to come by with Paul Rutherford the most successful bowler with figures of 3-38.
In reply the Ashington bats looked a lot more comfortable.
Openers Neil Wood (51) and Anirudh Singh (58) put on a good opening partnership of 136, and this laid the foundations for a solid victory.
Jack Jessop (16) and Ben O’Brien (18) saw them over the line.
In the reverse fixture for the 2nd XIs, Alnmouth went down to 105-run defeat.
Doug Potts hit 107 for Ashington before being run out.
This helped his side to a score of 210-5 off their 45 overs. Joe Tudor took 2-7 for Alnmouth, who in reply lost both their openers for ducks.
Robert Burnett tried to steady the rocking ship with a knock of 62, but with four other tail-enders failing to score they were all out for 105.Potts and Craig Wood each took three wickets for Ashington.
