County’s hub for disabled swimmers

Morpeth Swimming Club has been appointed as the Northumberland Disability Hub Club and is holding an assessment session for disabled swimmers throughout the county.

Adults and children with a disability can now receive individual advice and assessment from a network of specialist swimming clubs across England, which will help them to get started, enjoy the benefits of getting in the water and identify the best opportunities available.

MASC has recently become one of these hub clubs, working in partnership with the Amateur Swimming Association to provide an assessment opportunity for any adult or child with a disability. They are invited to attend a session on Friday, April 5, at the Riverside Leisure Centre between 7pm and 8pm.
