Alnwick Sea Angling Club
The first match of the winter season was fished on Sunday and it was good to see a new member returning to the club.
Conditions were not ideal but with a slight southerly wind picking up there was a chance of some fish.
It was a good start to the season, with most anglers managing to catch and weigh in.
Winner was Steve McKee with two cod for 7lb 15oz. Steve also had the heaviest fish, a cod of 5lb ½oz.
Second was Clive Miller with three cod for 5lb 4oz and third was John Stephenson with one cod for 4lb 4½oz.
