Blyth Spartans talent Zach Simpson seals loan exit
Zach Simpson has signed for Whickham FC on a two-month deal.
Blyth Spartans have confirmed that promising midfielder Zach Simpson has joined Whickham FC on a two-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old - who was previously named Player of the Season at Croft Park for the 2024/25 campaign - heads out on a temporary agreement with view to earning valuable first-team minutes, and made his debut for his new club during a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle Benfield on Wednesday evening.
Addressing the decision to sanction Simpson’s loan, Blyth boss Marc Nash said: “Zach has achieved so much at this club for someone so young, but he's still developing and needs more game time, so we felt it was important to get him playing regularly.
"He has a big future ahead of him, and the aim is for him to return with improved match sharpness and fitness, ready to compete at higher levels.”
In an official statement, Spartans wished Simpson “the very best” during his loan spell.
