Our special offer for new members is still available for a group of four people to join together, then the total will be just £1,000 (i.e. £250 each for the first year).
Medalford: As a change from the usual winter golf diet of team stablefords, winter league and yellow-balls the members of Warkworth Golf Club teed up on Saturday for a Medalford. This rarely played scoring format is a better-ball pairs event but the pair score as strokeplay for the front nine and stableford for the back nine. The final score is derived by subtracting the stableford points from the medal total.
Results: 1 A Cunningham and M Armstrong 31-24=7; 2 R Davison and I Donkin 32-23=9 (back six); 3 G Scott and M Patterson 32-23=9.
Two’s: The two’s were shared by D Cook/J Cassidy and A Cunningham/M Armstrong. Members can look forward to other ‘different’ competition formats in the coming weeks, namely a Bisque Par, an Eratoe and an Arizona Shuffle. Full instructions will be provided on the day.
