With a good northerly sea running, conditions were good for cod on Sunday (January 18).
Most anglers managed to weigh in and the match produced some quality catches.
Anthony Gibbison won the match with an excellent bag of 12 cod for 33lb 13oz, which also included the heaviest fish, a good quality cod of 9lb 8oz, which was also the heaviest bag and fish of the season.
Second was Steve Scott, who had another good bag of five cod for 18lb 6oz, which also included a good cod of 8lb 7½oz. Third was Willy Morton, who also had a good bag of nine cod for 18lb 4½oz.
