Alnwick Sea Angling Club

ALTHOUGH there was only a slight southerly sea running this Sunday, there had been better conditions through the week so there was still a good chance of some fish.

Anthony Gibbison won the match with two cod and a coal fish for 10lb 4½oz which also included the heaviest fish, a nice-sized cod of 7lb 4½oz.

Second was Willy Morton with one cod and two coal fish for 5lb 12oz.

Other anglers weighing in were Ian Hall, one cod 3lb 2oz; John Stephenson, one flounder 1lb 1½oz; Steve KcKee, one coal fish 12oz.

Ian Harrogate won the club singles competition 2011/12.
