Alnwick went down 27-12 at high-flying Dinnington in North One East today.
It was Alnwick’s eighth league defeat of the season and leaves them fourth from bottom.
Sadly for Alnwick, they couldn’t build on last week’s victory against Bradford & Bingley, but this afternoon’s match was always going to be a big ask against Dinnington, who are fourth in the table.
Alnwick face second-bottom Old Crossleyans at home next Saturday in what is a crunch fixture at the wrong end of the table.
