A NORTH Northumberland running club is holding a taster night for new members.
Wooler Running Club is holding the open night on Tuesday (May 15).
The evening is open to anyone who is new to running or an experienced lone runner who would be interested in joining a friendly and relaxed running club.
Anyone interested is asked to meet at 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start at the duck ponds car park on Wooler Common and there will be different routes for different abilities.
The evening will end with drinks and chips in The Anchor in Wooler.

In club news it has been another busy fortnight for members.
On Saturday, April 28, Sarah Robson and Rebecca Moss completed the Tartan 10k race in Balmoral in times of 52:15 and 51:21 respectively, while Pam Brown completed another challenging running course when she did the Highland Fling race – a 53-mile route along the West Highland Way – in 11h29m.
On Sunday, April 29, five members took part in the Cheviot Summit Fell Race in the bitter cold up to a snow covered summit.
Claire Bagness was second lady with a time of 69:49, followed by Rob Murray-John in 74:14, Karl Wait in 75:07, John Pringle in 78:09 and Harry Porteous in 81:07.
Sunday, May 6, saw Nick Baxter and Kris Thompson complete the Marathon of the North in Sunderland in times of 4hr22m and 5hr11m respectively.
Another successful two weeks for the club, which is looking forward to seeing some new faces on Tuesday.
