Lenovo recalls laptops over fire concerns

Computer manufacturer Lenovo is recalling a range of laptops due to a risk that they may overheat and catch fire.

Lenovo has discovered that a limited number of ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation Laptops may have an unfastened screw that could damage the laptop's battery.

This could cause overheating, and potentially pose a fire hazard.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptops manufactured on or after 1 November 2017 are not affected.
