It’s not just Alnwick where the floral displays are shabby and the grass at the roadsides is untidy, it’s the whole of Northumberland except Morpeth.
We in the bulk of south east Northumberland are affected in the same way as the north and a drive around the rest of Northumberland proves the same.
This Lib Dem council has its priorities all wrong. It seems to be deliberately making the county look shabby.
It’s like living in a third world country with poor roads, overgrown grass and almost non-existent floral displays. Of course Morpeth has won Northumbria in Bloom.
Maybe we could have a different town each year – if we can’t afford to do it county wide – and not concentrate so much on the town where the Council HQ is.
