Shoreline is filthy

INSTEAD of wasting fuel checking sign sizes, councillors and staff should check out Cresswell beach, it has to be the filthiest piece of shoreline in the North East.

The coal dust is nothing nor the shale from the cliffs but cans, bottles, plastic and fly-tipping on the grassy slopes and knee-deep piles of rotting seaweed mixed with more rubbish are a total eyesore.

So get ya wellies on gadgies and hev a luk.
