It appals me to think there is no little give and take for parking as a carer needing to get an urgent prescription picked up, via a quick pull up, run in and run out.
I stayed longer standing trying to justify why I had pulled up outside of Paikes Lane in Alnwick, I could have been in and gone.
The warden was so unhelpful. Gone are the days of the old wardens, who would tell you to be quick and be back in a moment as they wait for you.
It led to me to driving round the town looking for somewhere to park. Despite the rain, it was a non-starter – full up all over.
Reducing time limits outside of Costa Coffee to 10 minutes would be a better solution for small tasks like this.
