NOT too bad – only two moderately-toned letters reacting to my grandson’s words likening wind turbines to angels.
I’d rather feared the storm clouds of heaven would descend.
However, Bill Ricalton has given me a good idea.
Why don’t we go for a new nuclear power station, here in Northumberland? That way we could justify our opposition to wind turbines.
It would be easy to dust off the plans which were made after six months of detailed test drilling in 1983.
Please would any readers who would like to campaign for a nuclear power station at Druridge Bay contact me?
