Long live the horror

MR Easton wants the Gazette to restrict correspondence about the ongoing fight to protect Beadnell’s coastal land so that it can spend more time on what he considers are much more important matters – sudoku and crossword clues!

This reveals the lack of importance that Mr Easton attaches to the preservation of Northumberland’s natural assets history and heritage.

His ‘horror’ not at the prospect of the environment being destroyed but at the words of those who are trying to prevent this from happening is difficult to comprehend.

His words must be music to the ears of the developers. They too would love to close down the only forum that the public have to express an opposing view to their proposals.
