INQUIRY: Still questions to consider

Recently there were reports that a letter had been received by the monitoring officer of Northumberland County Council.

The content of the letter made serious allegations against senior Tory councillors over a controversial housing development.

After an internal inquiry it was found they had no case to answer.

During their election campaign the Tories promised that they would be open and transparent. Now that they have no case to answer will they make public the letter and answer the following?

Why did a senior council official resign? Name those who conducted the enquiry and who appointed them. What were the questions asked, and who was asked?

Fulfilling this request will show the Tories are true to their word of being “open and transparent”.
