Coward left my cat for dead

ON November 1, my four-year-old cat Max was knocked over outside St Oswald’s School. Some coward had left him for dead in the middle of the road.

Fortunately, a group of brave young lads noticed him and picked him up off the road, and then helped get him to Aln Veterinary Practice.

Unfortunately, Max didn’t make it.

It would be nice to have the opportunity to thank these lads for their kindness in person and, if they feel up to it, they could contact me at Alnwick Timber, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, on 01665 510531.

Max was a very special and well-known cat who ruled the east end of Alnwick and so if there are any black-and-white kittens around or due soon, they will no doubt be his.

I hope that they can bring as much joy to their owners’ lives as he did to ours.

RIP Little Maxi.
