CHARITY: High praise for club golf day

The No Limits Health Club charity golf day in aid of the Motor Neurone Association took place at Alnmouth Village Golf Club on July 23, and raised £2,070 for the charity.

I would like to thank all those who played and to those who generously donated prizes for the auction and raffle.

Thanks must go to John Graham (treasurer) and members of the committee of Alnmouth Village Golf Club who very kindly donated all green fees for the day to the charity.

Thanks also to all those who helped, in particular Mr and Mrs Stancliffe, Lucy and Alison and the catering and bar staff at the golf club.

Finally, special thanks must go to Ian Simpson and Paul Stancliffe who put in so much hard work organising the event.

It is testament to their efforts that so much money was raised and no praise is high enough.
