Youngster organises beach clean
A Bamburgh youngster and her friends carried out a beach clean recently.
Isla Morton, who has just turned 12 and organised the event as part of her community citizenship project at St Mary’s Middle School, Belford, said: “We wanted to clean a beach because rubbish on the beach doesn’t look good for visitors coming to our area and can be harmful to birds and other wildlife.”
