Dressed to impress, Year 11 pupils from Amble’s James Calvert Spence College enjoyed a memorable night at their end-of-year prom.
Sharp suits and delightful dresses were the name of the game, as the students had a ball at the glitzy celebration on Wednesday, June 22.
The event was held at the town’s Masonic Hall, where they enjoyed a buffet and dancing to a disco. A magic mirror also provided plenty of fun.
The students were given favours and sweetie bags, which was organised by the school.
Zac Coils and Erin Foster were crowned Prom King and Queen on the night. They were each presented with a sash and crown.
It was another successful prom and gave the students the chance to let their hair down after the recent exams.
The memorable evening was organised by teacher Rachel Parks and technician/teaching assistant Kim Wingfield.
Rachel said: “It was a really good event. It was lovely. There was a proper red carpet and everyone was dressed up really nicely.”
The school is holding its Year 13 celebration event this evening, with a meal at Lollo Rosso Italia in Morpeth.
