Il Divo are to play Alnwick next summer.

A world-acclaimed quartet, Il Divo are tenor Urs Bühler (Switzerland), baritone Carlos Marin (Spain), pop artist Sébastien Izambard (France) and tenor David Miller (USA).

Il Divo, whose music encompasses classical, opera and pop, have achieved over 30million album sales worldwide, more than 50 number one records, 160 gold and platinum sales awards and four ground-breaking world tours.

The band’s sold-out Amor and Pasión dates in 2016 had critics praising their ability to ‘ignite hearts’ with their effortless charm and ‘magnificent vocals’.

Hits including Regresa a Mi (Unbreak My Heart), The Time of Our Lives, Si Voy a Perderte (Don’t Wanna Lose You), Time to Say Goodbye (Con Te Partirò) and I Believe in You (Je Crois en Toi) are guaranteed to delight audiences.

The entertainment will begin at 7pm and gates open at 5pm. Support acts will be announced nearer the time.

Unlike previous Pastures concerts, Il Divo will be a fully-seated performance and, in accordance with the promoter’s regulations, guests’ own food and drink will not be permitted. There will be a selection of hot and cold food stalls available to choose from inside the venue grounds.

Peter Taylor, director of concert promoter Cuffe and Taylor, said: “We are delighted to be bringing such a huge act back to the UK. Il Divo are superstars who have millions of fans around the world. This promises to be an amazing tour at wonderful venues.”

There will be a raised, accessible, platform suitable for wheelchair users.

Tickets go on sale at 9am, on Saturday from or from and prices start from £45.
